What is DC gear motor?

DC gear motor is DC motor with reduction gearbox. The addition of a gear head to a motor reduces the speed while increasing the torque output. The most important parameters in regards to gear motors are speed (rpm), torque (lb-in) and efficiency (%). Except for customized solutions, we produce mainly 3 kinds of micro dc gear motors. These are dc spur gear motors, dc planetary gear motors and dc worm gear motors. And the dc motor can be either brushed dc motor or brushless dc motor.
